Yes, We offer a 14 calendar days free trial period. You can use all the features of the application for free till the end of this period.

Getting Started
1. How can I get started with NewGenEducationApp?
You can get started with NewGenEducationApp by setting up an account for your Institute. Click here to create a new account for free.
Once your account is approved you will receive a welcome mail from us, containing the login credentials. You can login into NewGenEducationApp and personalize your institute by configuring the below items:
- Subject Configuration
- Staff Profiles
- Academic Year
- Class Configuration
- Student Profiles
- Student Register
- Institute Calendar
- Timetable
Once you complete all the above steps, your Institute is now ready for its daily transactions. You can manage the fees and Payment Gateway for fee payment details. And proceed on carrying out daily transactions, such as attendance, video assignment, exam configuration, exam assessment, etc. You can refer user manual for more details on how to perform each daily transactions / features.
2. How can I setup my Institute in NewGenEducationApp?
You can setup your institute by signing up from our site. You will be asked some details about your institute while signing-up. Provide all the details & by the end of verification process, your Institute is setup and ready to configure. Click here for signup
3. Do I need to enter my credit / debit card details during signup?
No, it is not required. Click here for signup
4. How long will it take to get my signup verified?
Usually your signup will be verified and approved immediately. At worst cases, you will be notified through mail within 24 hours.
5. Where do I get the credentials to login into NewGenEducationApp?
Once your signup is verified you will receive a welcome mail. The login credentials will be mentioned in that mail. You can change your password after logging-in the first time.
6. How Parent can access NewGenEducationApp?
Once the creation of Student Profile is completed by the Admin user, a welcome mail is sent to the Parent/Student's mail. Parent / Student users can login into the application using the credentials received in the welcome mail. You can access NewGenEducationApp through either web or app. For web access, web.newgeneducationapp.com can be used. For mobile access, you can download our mobile app from App Store / Play Store.
7. How Teacher or Other Staffs can access NewGenEducationApp?
Once the creation of Staff Profile is completed by the Admin user, a welcome mail is sent to the Teacher / Other Staff's mail. Teacher / Other Staff users can login into the application using the credentials received in the welcome mail. You can access NewGenEducationApp through either web or app. For web access, web.newgeneducationapp.com can be used. For mobile access, you can download our mobile app from App Store / Play Store.

1. How can I change the institute name or logo in NewGenEducationApp?
You can edit the institute name and/or logo in menu “Institute -> General Configuration” under the operation ‘Edit’. You can mention the new institute name and/or logo & save.

Academic year denotes the period of the year during which students attend K-12 schools / university / other institute. Every class will fall under a specific academic year, while viewing data of a class only the details of the current academic year is displayed, in order to prevent old irrelevant data.

You can create a class in menu “Institute -> Class configuration” under “Create” operation. Only after creating a class you can register students in them, and perform regular operations such as attendance, exam configuration, assessment, etc.

In holiday maintenance, the set of working and non-working days followed in the Institute can be declared. This will be necessary in the calculation of attendance percentage.
You can maintain the holidays of the institute in menu “Institute -> Holiday Maintenance”. Mention the month, year and the days which fall under holiday (either full or half day) & save.

You can create timetable for a class in menu “Class -> Timetable” under “Create” operation. Mention the subject and staff name for each period & save. You can edit a created timetable under “Edit” operation.

You can create a student profile in menu “Student -> Profile” under “Create” operation. Once the student profile is created, a mail will be sent to the given student/parent mail containing the credentials to login into the system. NewGenEducationApp allows student above age 16 to perform student roles from their login. For students under age 16, their parents will receive the mail containing the login credentials. They can perform parent roles from their login.

After the class and the students are created you can enrol the students to a specific class in menu “Class -> Student Register” under “Create” operation. Mention the class, the list of students to register in the class & save. A student can be registered to multiple classes at a same period.

11. How can I set fees for given set of students?
A group comprises either a set of classes or a set of students under it. You can create a group in menu “Institute -> Assignee Group” under “Create” operation. Mention the target students or classes to which the fee to be created is applicable. After the group is created, you can mention this group in the field “Assignee Group” while creating the fee at Fee Management menu. The created fee will be applied only to the students present in the mentioned group.

18. How can I introduce a new event to the students?
You can create a new event in menu “Institute -> Event Planner” under “Create” operation. Mention the details about the event to be created. The applicable students/parents will be notified about the created new event.

The following types of events can be managed through the event planner:
- Sports or Cultural events (for example, Annual day, Sports day, Christmas celebration)

You can use our Event planner to automate the before/after K-12 schools special coaching programs. You can create an extra-curricular activity / event in menu “Event Planner” under “Create” operation. Mention the necessary details and save.

A group comprises either a set of classes or a set of students under it. You can create a group in menu “Institute -> Assignee Group” under “Create” operation. Mention the target students or classes to which the event / extra-curricular activity to be created is applicable. After the group is created, you can mention this group in the field “Assignee Group” while creating the event / extra-curricular activity at “Event Planner” menu. The created event / extra-curricular activity will be applied only to the students present in the mentioned group.

Students can be enrolled in two ways:
1. Parent / Student can enrol via their login in menu “Extra Curricular Activity”. Mention the student who wants to enrol to the event. List of events applicable to the students will be shown. Among them, select the event to which the student wants to be enrolled. Click the “enrol” button at the bottom of the screen. Now the student is enrolled to that event. 2. Teachers can enrol students to an event in menu “Event Planner” under “Edit” operation. Select the event to which the students are to be enrolled. Under “Participation & Results” tab add the students to be enrolled, tick the enrolment field & save. Refer User Manual for more details
23. How fees can be collected for an event?
To charge a fee for an event, create a group of enrolled students in menu “Assignee Group”. Then create a fee in menu “Fee Management”, mention the created group in the assignee group field & save. The created fee will be applied to all the enrolled students.

You can shortlist the enrolled students for an event using menu “Institute -> Event Planner” under “Edit” operation. Under “Participation & Result” tab, add the students (if required), tick the participation field and Save.

Attendance for a class can be made & tracked in menu “Class -> Attendance”. To take attendance for the 1st period of the day, use “Create” operation. To take attendance for other periods, use “Edit” operation, search for attendance record of the class for the required day, and edit the attendance for the corresponding periods.

You can schedule / configure an exam in menu “Class -> Exam Configuration”. To create a new exam schedule, use “Create” operation. Mention the necessary details, like class, exam type, date & time, grade details, etc. & save.

Once the exam is scheduled & is conducted, the corresponding staffs can assess their subjects. This can be performed in menu “Class -> Exam Assessment” under “Create" operation. Mention the mark and feedback for each student and save.

Soft skills can be configured for an exam term at the time of configuring the exam in menu “Exam Configuration”. While creation, at step 6 tick the soft skill assessment required field, mention the list of soft skills & save. The given set of soft skills can be assessed for the given exam term.

Staffs leave request can be approved or rejected in menu “Staff -> Leave Management” under “Authorize” operation. Select the leave request to be approved or rejected, click “authorize” button at the bottom of the screen to approve the leave request. Or click “reject” button at the bottom of the screen to reject the leave request.

Institute can keep track of offline payments in menu “Institute - > Fee Payment”. Under “Create” operation teller/other staff can create a record for each payment received.

Payment gateway is required to collect international online fee payment from student / parent.

11. How to purchase additional resources in NewGenEducationApp?
After signup, you will be given the credentials to log in to NewGenEducationApp. Use the given credentials and Log in to our application, go to "Billing > Purchase/Renewal" in the menu. There you can choose whatever resource that you want and buy them using any card payment methods. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We do not store any card details.

13. Will I be reminded about the expiration of my current subscription / plan?
Yes, we will send SMS and mail remainders to the Admin's contact number and email, everyday from 1 week before plan expiry.

If the subscription / plan is expired and is not renewed, then the user can only login into the application, but cannot perform any of the provided functionalities.
Data Security & Business Resilience
1. How data is secured in NewGenEducationApp?
There is secured granular access control on data, whoever has access can only access the data based on their applicable role. Data transmission happens on highly secured network and the protocol. Data is stored on robust secured oracle cloud.
Always data owner of the application is K-12 schools, Colleges, Universities, Training institutes and Tuition Centers. We do not have any rights on their data and do not share it to any organisation without institutes’, parents’ and students’ consent where ever it is required.
3. Will our data be shared with any marketing agency?
No. Institute is the owner of the data. We do not have rights to share it with any marketing agency.
4. How data privacy is implemented?
We know the legal implication of data collection, processing, rights of individuals and privacy preferences.
Always data owner of the application is K-12 schools, colleges and Training institutes. We do not have any rights on their data and do not share it to any organisation without institutes’, parents’ and students’ consent where ever it is required.

5. How business resilience is considered? (or) How high availability is achieved?
Data is replicated every 2 seconds from actual production server to standby server in different location, it helps to have high availability and business resilience.
We follow effective data backup strategy as well. We do incremental back up every day and full back up on every Sunday.
